Imagine a moment where God’s presence becomes so tangible, it’s visible to everyone. That’s what happened when the cloud descended.
The descent of the cloud isn't just a poetic image; it's a powerful symbol.
A Familiar Sign
This wasn't a new phenomenon for Israel. They'd seen this cloud before, guiding them out of Egypt and through the wilderness. Now, it settled specifically on the Tabernacle, the portable dwelling God commanded them to build.
A Divine Dwelling
By covering the Tabernacle, the cloud signified that God, who had been leading them from afar, was now making His dwelling among them. It was a tangible sign of His approval of their completed work and His commitment to be with His people.
