Have you ever felt like God is distant or hard to reach? This verse begins a new section of instructions with a very direct statement.
A Clear Voice
Right at the beginning of this chapter, we see God speaking directly to Moses and Aaron. This isn't a vague feeling or a distant whisper. The text says, "And the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying." This direct address highlights God's intentionality in communicating His will to His people through their appointed leaders.
Why Moses and Aaron?
God chose Moses and Aaron as His spokespeople. Moses was the primary mediator for the people, and Aaron, as the High Priest, was central to the religious and sacrificial system. This partnership underscores that God's instructions were meant to be received, understood, and implemented through established leadership, ensuring order and clarity in worship and life.
