Samson reveals not just the secret of his strength, but the very meaning of his calling: his strength isn't in his hair itself, but in the covenant it represents, a perpetual dedication to God from birth. When he says he'll be "like any other man," it's a profound admission that he'll lose his divine distinction and purpose.
And he told her all his heart, and said to her, “A razor has never come upon my head, for I have been a Nazirite to God from my mother’s womb. If my head is shaved, then my strength will leave me, and I shall become weak and be like any other man.”
English Standard Version (ESV)
After Samson has been tricked by Delilah multiple times with false answers about his strength, she presses him relentlessly until he finally reveals the truth. He confesses that his immense power is tied to his lifelong vow as a Nazirite, symbolized by his uncut hair, and that shaving his head would sever his connection to God's strength. This confession, however, marks the beginning of his downfall, as Delilah immediately sends for the Philistine rulers to betray him.

Samson's long hair wasn't the source of his strength, but a visible sign of a solemn vow he took before birth: the Nazirite vow. This was a special consecration to God, set apart for His service.
Samson spills his deepest secret to Delilah. What drives a hero to such vulnerability, and what does it reveal about his heart?
This moment is a tragic climax of Samson's weakness for Delilah. He had already revealed lesser secrets, but here he lays bare the core of his divine empowerment.
