Ever felt too young, too inexperienced, or just not 'enough' for a task God seems to be calling you to? Jeremiah did too.
Jeremiah felt inadequate because of his youth. But God's response wasn't about dismissing Jeremiah's feelings; it was about re-framing his perspective.
God's Power, Not Your Own
God said, 'Do not say, 'I am only a youth.'' This isn't about denying reality, but about refusing to let that reality define his ability to serve. The power to fulfill the mission comes from God, not from Jeremiah's age or perceived maturity.
Sent by God, Not By Choice
The phrase 'for to all to whom I send you, you shall go' highlights divine authority. Jeremiah wasn't choosing his assignments; he was being sent. This means God would provide the means, the courage, and the direction for every place He sent him. Your obedience isn't about your capacity, but about your willingness to go where God directs.
