Deuteronomy 32:8-9

The verse doesn't just say God set boundaries for nations; it states He did so "according to the number of the sons of Israel." This wasn't about Israel's size at that moment, but a profound declaration that God's grand plan for the nations was always, in some way, calibrated with His chosen people in mind, even before they existed as a nation. It reveals a divine orchestration where even the global map was drawn with Israel's future inheritance as a significant, though perhaps not the sole, consideration.
When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he divided mankind, he fixed the borders of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God. But the LORD’s portion is his people, Jacob his allotted heritage.
