Protection Through Prayer
King Hezekiah and Jerusalem were facing the formidable Assyrian army, led by Sennacherib, who had already conquered many cities. The situation looked hopeless.
A Prayer for Deliverance Hezekiah's response was not to muster more troops, but to humble himself, pray, and seek God's intervention through Isaiah (as seen in the preceding verses). This shows that true security isn't in military might, but in faithfulness and reliance on God.
