The fear must have been paralyzing. How could a nation possibly survive such an onslaught? Yet, God offers a radical promise that shifts the entire perspective of the battle.
The promise here is clear: 'see the salvation of the LORD.' This means the victory wouldn't come from Judah's military might, but from God's direct intervention.
God assures them, 'Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed. Tomorrow go out against them, and the LORD will be with you.' This isn't just a passive 'God will handle it.' It's an active participation in God's plan, stepping out with Him.
Our battles, whether spiritual, emotional, or circumstantial, are ultimately won when we align ourselves with God's purposes and trust in His presence and power to act on our behalf.
