Think about the last time someone really misunderstood you. It’s tough, right? There’s an inner world to each of us that’s hard to fully share.
Paul uses a powerful analogy here: just as only your own spirit knows your deepest thoughts, we can’t fully grasp God’s thoughts on our own.
Our Own Inner World
Our thoughts, motivations, and deepest feelings are private. Even those closest to us can only guess or interpret. It takes our own spirit—our inner self—to truly know what we're thinking and why.
God's Unfathomable Mind
God's thoughts are infinitely beyond ours. He exists in a reality so different and vast that we, with our limited human minds, could never fully comprehend Him or His plans by ourselves. This isn't a flaw in us; it's a testament to God's magnificent otherness.
